Saint Louis Pk. Officials Hear from Residents on Rail Concerns

The Saint Louis Park City Council held what they termed a listening session to allow residents to voice their opinions on proposed route changes for local freight lines. One of those proposed changes would move trains onto a line that runs through the middle of the city.

Elk River Waste Facility Will Take Henn. Co. Garbage

After a two-year gap, an Elk River waste processing facility has agreed to once again take on Hennepin County's garbage when it get into a pinch.

Hennepin County Board commissioners approved the agreement yesterday with the Great River Energy's Elk River Station, a power plant which produces electricity for sale to rural electric cooperatives. The county has been delivering

Expect Delays as part of 169/494 Interchange

Expect a slow commute through Bloomington if you use Highway 169. Lane closures in both directions start Wednesday April 27.

The left lane of northbound Highway 169 between I-494 and Anderson Lakes Parkway will close at 7 p.m. today. The lane will reopen by 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 28.

The left lane of southbound Highway 169 will also close at 9 p.m. today.

Mpls. Opens Street 6 Weeks after Gas Explosion & Fire

The damage done by a gas main explosion and fire in south Minneapolis has finally disappeared.

Minneapolis officials say 60th Street between Nicollet Avenue and I-35W is now open for the first time to traffic. And so is the freeway exit and on-ramp at 60th Street.
