As far as the Hopkins School District is concerned, they've got their winners.
Steven Adams, Kristine Newcomer and incumbents Wendy Donovan and Irma McIntosh Coleman have been elected to serve on the Hopkins School Board for the next four years--their terms start in January.
School District spokesperson Jolene Goldade acknowledged that one precinct out of 31 has yet to report its results--but she says the remaining "numbers are so small, we can say with certainty" who won the race last night.
Here are the latest results from the Secretary of State's website:
Steven Adams 3075 23%
Wendy Donovan 2884 21%
Kristine Newcomer 3012 22%
Irma Mcintosh Coleman 2309 17%
Tina Soumare 2167 16%
The results will remain unofficial until the Hopkins School Board canvasses them at the November 17th School Board meeting.
