Junior League of Minneapolis Hosts American Girl Fashion Show®; Models Wanted

The Junior League of Minneapolis will host the 12th annual American Girl Fashion Show® March 8, 9, and 10 at the Capri Theater in Minneapolis. The annual event showcases Twin Cities girls modeling both historical and contemporary fashions from the American Girl® doll and clothing line. Girls will walk the runway with dolls in matching clothing.

Mustaches, Beards, Goatees, Oh My!

Noticed more staches, beards and goatees on Edina cops lately? Well, they're growing their facial hair for a good reason. To bring awareness to men's health issues such as testicular and prostate cancer. The Edina Police Department is participating in the world-wide initiative "Movember."

Hennepin Gallery is Showcasing New Art this October

The Hennepin Gallery is celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month this October by showcasing art from Minnesota artists.

Fourteen recipients of the VSA Minnesota’s Project Grants for Artists with Disabilities Program, funded by the Jerome Foundation, will have their work on display at the gallery.

And The Winners Are ....

The 2011 "Images of Edina" Photo Contest Results are in and Rebecca Schmoll's photo, "Happy Customers," won Best in Show in addition to the "Doing Business" category in the 8th Annual Images of Edina Photo Contest.

Judges chose winning photographs in five categories representing the City’s vision statement: Living, Learning, Raising Families and Doing Business.

Ladies, if one of your New Year's resolutions is to be a healthier woman this year, you know, eat healthier, drink healthier, and have a healthy heart, you may want to attend an upcoming event.

On Wednesday, February 23, Galleria and Abbott Northwestern Hospital welcome women to the first Be Healthy!

Edina Chorale

Nothing says holiday spirit more than the sound of Christmas carols. And the Edina Chorale will present two holiday concerts in December. They'll feature seasonal music for choir, harp and flute.
